I made a poll for people to fill out about the Elemental talents. It's just a list of options for each one, and you can choose as many options as you want. Pretty interesting results so far.

Mister Poll: Shaman Elemental Talents

I made a post just now on the shaman forums about what I'd love to have as my end-tree Elemental talents. Right now, I have a deep and burning hatred of Lightning Overload and Totem of Wrath. They're just so CRAPPY. They're par for the course as far as shamans are concerned, but that won't stop me from dreaming.

So there I am. Waiting to go to Outland. I'm just parked there on a tent at the portal. Been there since BC was released. Can't go in.

Why? Because I'm waiting for payment for a couple web design jobs I did. Hopefully I'll have enough after I pay my bills to buy BC.

It really blows to watch everyone else have fun in Outland. Everything there looks so cool, and even though they barely gave shamans anything new, I can hardly wait. I want this game to be new and exciting again. I want to encounter strange new creatures. I want to see things I've never seen before so I can screenshot them and post them here. I want to get back into 5-man dungeons. Raiding is fun, but sometimes you feel like "Healer_0143". Hell, even PvP sounds fun; I want to try out the arenas and bomb the shit out of some Alliance scum on wyvernback. And I want to start a mage. Not to replace Baluki, but as something new to try; I've gotten mage characters up to lvl. 4 or 5, but I've been waiting for BC so I can make a belfmage, and take up Jewelcrafting like every single other belf and draenei in the game.

But until then, here I am. Waiting.

I really like this thread. It pretty much sums up everything that I'd like answered by Blizz about shamans. It's the best thread on the shaman forums I've ever seen that I didn't write myself.

Its only flaw is its futility.

I finally figured out how to get my old template to work with the new version of Blogger to my satisfaction. It's still not perfect, but that's all I feel like working on it today.

You'll probably notice that the images will start showing up larger too. Hopefully that'll be a welcome change.

I couldn't help it. I'm way too amusing to myself.

This was pretty interesting. Kruul is a guy who appears at the entrance to one of the capital cities at random, and he's exactly the same as Kazzak, except that he has a bunch of (weak!) corehounds with him. (And don't get me started on why the Fire Elementals would never ally with the Burning Legion.) The problem though, is that it's right next to the UC entrance, and there are tons of people who've never done the Kazzak fight coming and going, and they like to stand around and spectate while Kruul is being fought, which means they're easily killed, which heals Kruul, which means they can't kill him in 3 minutes, which means he kills everyone within about 100 yards of him instantly.

Ever get the feeling that you just single-handedly earned your class a nerf?
